During the current year, 81,4 percent of all Cyprus enterprises provide remote access to their e-mail system, 68,7 percent to the enterprise’s documents, including spreadsheets, presentations, or any other files and 64,8 percent provide remote access to enterprise’s business applications or software used by the enterprise, such as application or software related to accounting, sales or other business software.

Most tourism destinations in the EU are mainly visited during specific months of the year. Very often, demand is strongly concentrated on just a couple of months, mainly during the summer. 

As of  January 01, 2021, young people (aged 15–29 years) made up some 16.3 percent of the EU’s total population.

During the COVID-19 crisis, a large proportion of employed was faced with changing patterns of work – including working from home. In 2019, approximately one in 20 (5.5 percent) employed people aged 20–64 years in the EU usually worked from home.

A total number of 119.466 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in October of this year, compared to 64.547 in the corresponding month in 2021.

The Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 400.628 in October of this year compared to 391.638 in October 2021, recording an increase of 2,3 percent.
