Cyprus’ largest and most comprehensive calisthenics park was recently installed on Larnaca city’s Kastella Beach in a joint project between Larnaka Municipality and Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB).

The newly-launched ‘Larnaca Virtual Diving Routes’ have introduced and offer an interactive, digital way to experience some of Larnaca’s most popular dive sites – for divers preparing for an expedition, or non-divers wanting to enjoy a glimpse of the world beneath the waves.

City of Dreams Mediterranean, Cyprus’ first integrated resort (IR) and the largest in Europe and the wider region, announced a partnership with renowned Cypriot tennis player, Marcos Baghdatis, to present the Marcos Baghdatis Tennis Academy. With the aim to become a sporting landmark in Cyprus, the academy will be located in City of Dreams Mediterranean and is scheduled to open in the first half of 2023.

As part of the actions of the Cyprus Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works to promote cycling as a means of transportation, as well as the multimodality of traffic, another 55 km of bike lanes are being launched by the State to be added to the existing 186 km of existing bike lanes. 

The island’s first archery park is being constructed in Pyla village and will further cement Larnaca region’s reputation for offering professional facilities for national and international sporting events.
