A total number of 66,452 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in September of this year, compared to 26,111 in the corresponding month in 2020, recording an increase of 154,5 percent and 49,8 percent decrease compared to September 2019.

The arrivals of tourists to Cyprus reached 339,242 in September of this year, recording an increase of 288,4 percent compared to September 2020 (during which 87,334 arrivals were recorded), and a decrease of 35,3 percent compared to September 2019 (with 524,707 arrivals).

On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passenger Survey carried out by the country’s statistical service, revenue from tourism in Cyprus reached EUR245,7 million in July of this year, compared to EUR42,5 million in July 2020.

The Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 321,858 in August of this year, recording an increase of 208,7 percent compared to August 2020 (during which 104,261 arrivals were recorded), and a decrease of 41,9 percent compared to August 2019 (with 553,845 arrivals).

Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 297,308 in July of this year, recording an increase of 358 percent compared to July 2020 (during which 64,914 arrivals were recorded), and a decrease of 46 percent compared to July 2019 (with 550,971 arrivals).
