Cyprus Airways has recently presented its ambitious growth plans for the coming five years to stakeholders during a press conference entitled ‘Cyprus Airways – The Past & the Future’, which was held on December 14.  

In 2021, the total number of passengers travelling by air in the EU was 373 million, a substantial increase of 35 percent compared with 2020, after the strong decline of 73 percent (compared with 2019) due to pandemic restrictions. 

Cyprus Airways has added over 6000 additional seats to Athens, Paris and Yerevan to boost its capacity over the festive period.

Cyprus Airways announced its traffic results for October, where during this month, the airline operated a total of 310 flights (169 percent Increase from October 2021) and carried a total of 36,991 passengers (391 percent Increase from October 2021), registering a substantial increase in seat load-factor of 24 percent.
