Wizz Air, one of Europe's fastest-growing airlines has announced further expansion to its base in Cyprus, where it allocates two of its Airbus A321neo aircraft.

Cyprus Airways has unveiled an updated livery for its two new Airbus A320 aircraft as part of its re-positioning and new strategic plan launched earlier this year. Two additional new Airbus A320 aircraft are expected to join the fleet early in 2023 and will also carry this new livery.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual international health campaign organised by major breast cancer charities every October around the world. The aim of these campaigns is to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its causes.

Cyprus Airways recently announced its traffic results for September of this year. During this month, the airline operated a total of 267 flights (September 2021 – 148 flights) and carried a total of 34,868 passengers (September 2021 – 9,570 passengers), registering a healthy Seat Load Factor (SLF) of 79 percent (September 2021 – 50 percent). A further 108 flights were operated on an ACMI lease on behalf of an operator.
