New actions have recently been completed in the framework of the Larnaca Tourism Board’s ‘Enriching and Greening the Larnaca Beaches’ Programme.  

The Deputy Ministry of Tourism Cyprus, fully aware of the difficulties arising from the necessary restriction of gatherings, although also taking into account the fact that continuing tourism education is particularly important for the travel industry, launched a series of tourism education programmes, via the Internet, for tourism industry staff.

This year is set to be a landmark for the Larnaca region as 2020 sees the completion of many, major projects that are set to upgrade facilities, services, infrastructure and leisure options, with additional projects also commencing.

The Nicosia Tourism Board organised the second workshop (Workshop B) between the Cult - CreaTE project partners with the ultimate goal of promoting creative tourism in Nicosia.

The Cyprus Hotel Association during its 41st annual hotel conference, which took place February 26th, honoured the former president of the Cyprus Tourism Organization (CTO), Angelos Loizos, for his overall contribution to the tourism industry.
