Upgrades at Larnaca's organised beaches are ongoing under the ‘Enriching and Greening Larnaka Beaches’ programme, with works carried out throughout the year to ensure that each new tourist season offers a complete beach experience. 

Significant conclusions and data regarding tourism in a digital era emerged from the presentations recently given at an informative event held by Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) and MMC (Mediterranean Management Centre) in cooperation with the university UCLan Cyprus.

A study by Compare the Market has ranked the 35 major coastal cities in the world on factors such as the number of things to do, restaurants, beaches, Instagram posts, safety and average annual temperatures, to reveal the best coastal city break destinations across the world.

The first ‘Gastronomic Creations with Halloumi’ event recently took place on May 05, organised by Larnaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) in cooperation with the Higher Hotel Institute, Cyprus (HHIC), the Cyprus Cheesemakers Association, and the Cyprus Chefs Association (CCA).

Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 128,840 in March compared to 8,811 in March 2021 and to 55,342 tourist arrivals in March 2020.
