Costas Kadis, education and culture minister, Cyprus, had a meeting with the recently-commissioned board of directors of Cyprus Sport Organisation (CSO).

Participating parties discussed the idea of creating sports fan identification cards and constructing a new football pitch in Limassol. Another important topic was the 2017 budget for the organisation.

Kadis expressed his certainty that the newly-appointed board of directors will fulfill its potential in conducting its duties by adequately addressing the potential forthcoming challenges that the sports sector in Cyprus is facing, while pinpointing the significant importance of the collaboration between CSO and the Ministry of Education and Culture, in reaching common goals.
