Larnaca Honours Cruise Line Owner

Larnaca Municipality and Larnaka Tourism Board awared the title of Larnaka’s Loyal Friend to the owner of an Israeli cruise line which has brought passengers to the city for the past eight years.

Moshe Mano, CEO, Mano Maritime was recognised on the occasion of the 300th docking of one of his line’s ships at Larnaca Port. The dockings represent 250,000 passengers, most of whom disembarked to visit Larnaca.

The ceremony was also attended by Louis Group executives as the company is Mano Maritime’s local representative for Cyprus, as well as the captain of Golden Iris.

The ship is anticipated to carry out 35 cruises out of Haifa, Israel, by mid-November this year. Carrying up to 947 passengers, it will dock in Larnaca overnight during some of its cruises.
