Cyprus Revenue from Tourism for November 2023 Announced

Based on the results of the Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, revenue from tourism for Cyprus reached EUR113,7 million in November 2023 compared to EUR96,4 million in the corresponding month of 2022, recording an increase of 17,9 percent.

For the period of January – November 2023, revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR2.916,3 million compared to EUR2.381,6 million in the corresponding period of 2022, recording an increase of 22,5 percent.

The average expenditure per person was EUR712,63 in November 2023 compared to EUR643,38 in November 2022, recording an increase of 10,8 percent.

Tourists from the UK (the largest tourist market with 26,8 percent of the total tourists in November 2023) spent on average EUR71,75 per day, while tourists from Poland (the second largest market during the specific month with 11,8 percent of the total tourists) spent on average EUR81,20. Tourists from Germany (the third largest market with 10 percent), spent on average EUR103,24 per day.
