ICRC Welcomes Deputy Ministry for Tourism Establishment

The consortium creating Cyprus’ first integrated casino resort, Integrated Casino Resorts Cyprus (ICRC), comprising Melco International Development and The Cyprus Phassouri (Zakaki), a member of CNS Group, welcomed the establishment of a Deputy Ministry for Tourism in Cyprus.

In an announcement following parliament’s relevant decision, the consortium suggested the development would form the basis for a comprehensive sustainable tourism strategy in Cyprus.

Craig Ballantyne, property president, City of Dreams Mediterranean and Cyprus Casinos, commented, “The goals of the new Deputy Ministry are fully aligned with our efforts to offer top quality hospitality and entertainment, and to transform Cyprus into a year-round destination.

“To this end we look forward immensely to working closely with the Deputy Ministry on our upcoming projects.”
