The exposition was opened by Marios Demetriades, minister, transport, communications and works, Cyprus, where he explained how the island’s economy and society’s changes are fuelled by new technologies and innovative ways to do business and interact.

Demetriades said, “To remain competitive, Cyprus must make the most of these changes. At the moment, only some key players are using these new technologies. Others are still channelling too much investment in old systems.”
