According to CTC-ARI, its entire staff had the chance to experience The ARI Way Shift Excellence Match Perfect programme during the month of March this year.
The programme had two goals, to empower colleagues to work better as a team within ARI’s key principles and to give managers the tools to effectively and successfully operate, coach and develop.
Participants learnt about the philosophy of great sports teams to find ways to transfer their culture and success to their own daily business and personal life.
The prime example used was New Zealand’s champion All Blacks rugby team. Undefeated in over 80 percent of their international matches over the last 100 years, CTC-ARI said that All Blacks’ values-based culture proved that team culture was a key driver of success.
To get a feel of what working as team felt like, trainees had to form teams and complete a jigsaw puzzle as quickly as possible.
CTC-ARI’s winning team completed the Leadership jigsaw after just 2:06 minutes, becoming the fastest ever team from any ARI location.
ARI is a Dublin, Ireland-based international airport and retail holding and management company.
