Construction works of the Limassol Blu Marine Development have already started with the office tower, located on Franklin Roosevelt Avenue, which is currently under construction. In regard to the residential development, of which the first phase is a part of, construction works commenced last year with the preparatory works already completed, those including:
- Excavations
- Construction of reinforced concrete piles to a depth of 20 – 25 metres
- Excavation and construction of the 265 metre long secant pile wall
- Construction of the Bentonite walls
The letter of award, relating to the first phase of the residential development, which consists of a 35-storey residential tower covering a total area of 28,000 m2, was signed on August 03, at the Limassol Blu Marine offices, in the presence of Co-Presidents of the Leptos Group, George Leptos and Pantelis Leptos. The beachfront property construction site will immediately be ‘occupied’ by the contractors, with the arrival of the appointed specialists’ team and qualified staff.
The execution of the project is expected to significantly benefit the Cypriot economy through the creation of hundreds of new job positions in both construction as well as trade and the services sectors. The overall investment will be covered by the income derived from the sale of the exclusive sea view apartment residences, which already ensures the completion of the project’s construction.
