An agreement was recently signed between the Department of Engineering of the University of Nicosia (UNIC) and the Cyprus Geological Survey Department (GSD), committing both parties to closer collaboration in the broad area of Geo-Scientific research.

The presentation of the publication ‘Guide to Corporate Volunteering for the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility Actions’ took place on October 15, at the Press and Information Office. The publication was presented by Alexandros Antonaras, president, Cyprus Network for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR Cyprus).

A total number of 26,111 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in September of this year, compared to 132,409 in the corresponding month of 2019, recording a decrease of 80,3 percent.

The Cyprus arrivals of tourists reached 87,334 in September of this year compared to 524,707 in September 2019, recording a decrease of 83,4 percent.

On October 09, Nicosia Tourism Board hosted a special seminar to help the receptionists of the various hotels in Nicosia.

The goal of the seminar was to present and provide information about our beautiful city, to their visitors. After the training, the attendees enjoyed a tour around the capital city.
