Eleni Kaloyirou

ELENI KALOYIROU has been appointed CEO of Hermes Airports, succeeding Wes Porter. Kaloyirou joined the company in 2014 as executive manager of business control, and was later promoted to chief financial officer; her latest role with Hermes Airports.

Overall, Kaloyirou boasts more than 30 years of expertise mainly in the airline industry, as she has held the very important positions of chief financial officer and then deputy CEO at Cyprus Airways.

She also has experience in the property development business and in accountancy, having worked for KPMG in Cyprus and the UK. Moreover, she has been a member of the board of directors of the Association of Public Companies of Cyprus between 1991 and 2011.

Kaloyirou holds a degree in economics from the University of Cambridge.
