Tzevelekos will head the company’s Athens office and will be responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing and representation of the German company in both countries.
Having worked for Lufthansa Group since 1992, he has risen through the ranks and held numerous managerial positions, garnering valuable skills in almost every department, including ground handling, operations, cargo and customer service.
Since 2010, Tzevelekos has been the regional sales manager for Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines, leading a team of account managers in both Greece and Cyprus.
He succeeds Harro Julius Petersen, who retired at the end of January.
