Michalis Michaelides, director, Cyprus College, commented, “We are excited that one of our students has been awarded the BKR International EMEA scholarship; BKR International’s initiative promotes the accounting profession worldwide and helps students to achieve their goals.” 

The BKR Scholarship Program awards USD3,000 (EUR2,538) to students, which go towards the cost of obtaining an accounting credential in their country. BKR International awards one scholarship annually per region (EMEA, Asia Pacific and Americas) to honour students for their individual achievements in the profession.

Argyridou received her scholarship at May’s BKR International EMEA regional conference in Cyprus.
