The Board revealed that more than 700 visitors will be in Paphos between February 10 – 23, specifically to prepare and participate at Russian Football Federation’s upcoming tournament.

The 16 first-tier teams and the coefficients involved will stay in various regional hotels and will train at various Paphos-based stadiums.

The tournament is sponsored by Cyprus Tourism Organisation and Pafos Regional Board of Tourism, and will be hosted at Geroskipou’s Stelios Kyriakides Stadium.

Nassos Hadjigeorgiou, director, Pafos Regional Board of Tourism, underlined that Paphos meets most requirements needed to gain a better foothold on the global sports tourism scene.
