Held under the theme Teach a tourist about Cyprus: Tours through the eyes of the children the competition addressed to students of public and private high schools and it was part of a broader initiative by ACTE to inform young people about the tourist industry while also encouraging them to engage in tourism professions which now and in the future seem to have many prospects for employment.

An award ceremony will take place on November 13 at Filoxenia Conference Center in the honour of the students who were distinguished in the framework of a tourism fair competition launched by the Association Of Cyprus Tourist Enterprises (ACTE), Ministry of Education and Culture and Cyprus Tourism Organization.
