The strong ties between Cyprus and Israel were once again confirmed in the Cyprus – Israel Regatta, organised by the Israel Yacht Club together with the Famagusta District Sailing Club Begafigo from October 03–12.

The Maritime Cyprus Conference, said to be one of the most important international shipping events, was demonstrated for the 15th time, in Evagoras Lanitis centre, Limassol, by the presence of numerous distinguished personalities of the maritime and shipping industry.

The historic Italian training vessel Palinuro arrived in Larnaca on August 29 and will be open to the public until September 01 before returning to its port in Italy.

With the aim of expanding its cruise portfolio, DP World Limassol has recently unveiled plans to launch a new terminal at Limassol’s port, scheduled for completion by the end of summer.

Limassol Marina has achieved the international Blue Flag Marina status in recognition of its high standards and commitment related to environmental awareness and protection.

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works has announced the official submission of five proposals for the development of Larnaca Marina, the second attempt to find investors for the project.
