In a bid to attract more tourists to the destination, Pafos Regional Board of Tourism has recently announced that significant developments have been made in order to upgrade the city’s online resources.

On May 30, more than 100 key representatives from Greece gathered together in order to exchange views on the organisation of the EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017 which will take place on September 16 —22. 

The Greek Organisation of Football Prognostics (OPAP Cyprus),  recently presented its Corporate Social Responsibility Report (CSR) for 2016 at Olympic Hall in Nicosia in the presence of political figures, sport and cultural stakeholders, as well representatives of charity institutions.

On May 30, the opening ceremony for the casino operation and management educational programme was held at Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, under the auspices of Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company.

On May 29, Nicos Kouyialis, agriculture, rural development and environment minister, Cyprus, met with Khaled Fahmy, environment minister, Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency, and Socrates Famellos, environment and energy minister, Greece, in Cairo to share views on environmental policies in their countries.

During a meeting held between the board of directors of Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) and Marios Demetriades, transport, communications and works minister, Cyprus, a wide range of topics related to the tourism sector were discussed.
