Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) is celebrating a record-breaking year for tourism with global visitors up 14.6 percent in 2017 compared to 2016.
The statistical service of Cyprus’ Ministry of Finance revealed that 2017 arrivals to the island increased by 14.6 percent on 2016; notably, visitors from the GCC increased by 21.3 percent in 2017, with Saudi Arabia contributing the largest growth rate at 48.4 percent, followed by UAE at 19.6 percent.
