Based on the results of the Passengers Survey carried out by the Statistical Service, Cyprus revenue from tourism reached EUR458,6 million in October 2025, recording an increase of 12,4 percent as compared to the corresponding month of 2024 (EUR407,9 million).

A meeting of Costas Koumis, deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus, with the mayors of Ayia Napa and Paralimni-Dheryne, Christos Zannetou and George Nikolettos, took place January 05, at the Giorgos Seferis Cultural Centre in Ayia Napa. The meeting took place including the presence of the deputy mayors of the two municipalities, members of the Famagusta Tourism Development and Promotion Company, PASYXE, ACTTA, SIKAA and other tourism bodies.

In 2024, 68.4 percent of people in the EU lived in owner-occupied dwellings, while 31.6 percent resided in rented accommodation.   

In 2024, there were 737 142 buses and motor coaches (including trolleybuses, mini-buses and mini-coaches) in the EU, i.e. 1.6 buses and motor coaches per 1000 inhabitants.
