The growth has been fuelled by a robust surge in demand from Russia, with the volume of sun-seekers from the all-important market skyrocketing 39.3 percent to 133,892. Likewise, the UK delivered positive results with arrivals standing at 166,874, up 7.1 percent.
On the other hand, figures from Greece once again dropped, with 15,120 travellers on record, down 4.2 percent.
All in all, during the first seven months of the year, Cyprus welcomed 1,737,372 visitors, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 19.8 percent.
