Cyprus Attends MENA Innovation 2018

Costas Hambiarouris, minister, education and culture, Cyprus, recently represented the country at the MENA Innovation 2018 summit in Cairo, Egypt.

The official ministerial summit took place between July 29 – 31 and was dedicated to innovation in information and communications technology (ICT) in education and to the development of digital skills.

The event brought together ministers and senior officials for education, ICT, higher education and science and technology from all participating countries.

The summit was a unique meetings-based forum that involved the equal participation of three Egyptian ministries, namely Education & Technical Education, Communications & Information Technology and Higher Education & Scientific Research.

The high-level meetings-based forum brought together ministers, senior government officials, universities and civil society stakeholders from across the MENA region and African countries to engage with leading industry operators and solution providers.
