Cyprus Hotel Association Looks Ahead at AGM

Cyprus Hotel Association’s recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) ended in agreement that the state and tourism industry stakeholders are to concentrate their efforts on three main points for the rest of the year and throughout 2019.

Haris Loizides, president, Cyprus Hotel Association, identified these three points in his address, starting with the completion of large infrastructure projects such as the integrated casino resort and marinas.

This step also includes significant upgrades, renovations and extensions being carried out at hotels towards upgrading and enriching Cyprus’ tourism product.

Next on the list is the continuation of efforts to lengthen the tourism season and battled seasonality.

The third area of focus was identified as being the bringing about of reforms that will transform the country into a modern, competitive and effective state.
