Fig Tree Bay, Protaras ranked as the world’s 13th best beach and Europe’s fourth; Konnos, Ayia Napa, 12th (Europe); and Makronissos, Ayia Napa, 18th (Europe).

Yiannis Krousos, mayor, Ayia Napa, commented, “We see that year after year our rating improves and we now have beaches that are among the best.
