Marina Paralimni is a project of key importance for the municipality, which will contribute to the improvement of the tourist infrastructure of the Famagusta region, to promote Cyprus's nautical tourism and is expected to act as a means of attracting additional investment in the province. The project will be constructed in the area of the Agios Nikolaos Fishery Refuge in Paralimni, in state land and sea areas and will have a capacity of 300 vessels.

Lakkotripi said that the project of Marina Paralimni, combined with Ayia Napa Marina, will especially contribute to the tourist and nautical development of the region.
