In a special ceremony that took place on September 23, in the picturesque village of Prastio Avdimou, Savvas Perdios, deputy minister of tourism, Cyprus,  announced the launch of the innovative project ‘Heartland of Legends’.

The cultural services of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth and Rialto Theatre, will organise the eight Cyprus Jazz & World Music Showcase 2021, which will take place November 25-27, at Rialto Theatre in Limassol.

A tour of the new Multispace of Creativity and Culture (former Larnaka Club-Mattei House) for travel agents and tourist guides was organised on Sept 01 by Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB), Larnaka Municipality and the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents (ACTA), with the aim of encouraging tourist visits.

The Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works Cyprus announced that the underwater works and digital mapping of the ancient port of Amathous was completed under the framework of the European cross-border programme with the acronym ‘ANDIKAT’.

Past-forward: Stavros Economou Unarchived is the first retrospective exhibition of the work of Stavros Economou, one of the most significant representatives of modern architecture in Cyprus.

Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) and Larnaka Municipality are working towards the gradual creation of clusters in specific areas, as per the new global trend in tourism. As part of this larger plan the first improvement works at the ‘Larnaka Art Workshops Neighbourhood’ were recently presented.
