The project concerns the restoration of the old primary school of the community and its transformation into a regional cultural centre that will be used by the communities of Spilia, Kourdali and Kannavia. The building will be restored, thus preserving its traditional architectural character, and a large meeting room and a smaller screen and lecture hall as well as sanitary facilities will be built inside the building.

The construction of the cultural centre in Spilia is expected to bring significant economic, social and cultural benefits to the region.
