The Council of Ministers have approved the modified action plan for the gradual resumption of flights and the reopening of airports.

A total number of 26,111 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in September of this year, compared to 132,409 in the corresponding month of 2019, recording a decrease of 80,3 percent.

Wizz Air, one of Europe’s greenest airline, recently announced a new base at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, which will be the second base for Wizz Air UK, the group’s UK-registered and based airline, alongside London Luton.

After an increased number of cases detected the last weeks to travellers returning from various parts of Greece, the Cyprus Ministry of Health announced that, after evaluation, Greece is classified in Category B with effect from August 06.
