Primarily, the meeting focussed on a potential collaboration through common promotional and public relation actions targeting a variety of foreign markets which are being connected with Paphos through Ryanair services.
On behalf of the airline, Ravara expressed interest in promoting the area as a year-round destination, with a particular focus on the city’s selection as the European Capital of Culture for 2017.
The programme also highlighted the city’s development efforts aimed at upgrading main areas to reflect a more modern and attractive atmosphere, and Ryanair’s forthcoming plans were also discussed.
