According to the official government announcement, at this point, repatriation relates to people who belong in vulnerable groups, Cypriots who were stranded abroad after a visit, either for professional or medical reasons and for students in universities abroad.
As a beginning, Petrolina’s support included two scheduled flights. The first was the Cyprus Airways flight, on April 09, from Larnaca-London-Larnaca, carrying in total 96 Cyprus citizens, from the UK, the US, New Zealand and France. The flight was offered by Cyprus Airways and Petrolina supplied the fuels for free.
A second flight, from Larnaca-Hannover-Thessaloniki-Larnaca, transferring 107 citizens (36 from Germany, seven from Saudi Arabia, three from Switzerland, two from Holland, two from Denmark, two from Polland, one from France and 54 from Greece), which arrived on April 10. The flight was offered by the Bank of Cyprus and Petrolina supplied the fuels for free.
It will offer support, as always, to the country and to those who in need.
