SkyUp Airlines LLC was founded in June 2017 and started operating in May 2018.

Since March 2019, SkyUp has begun direct flights between Larnaca and Kiev with two weekly flights Kiev - Larnaca - Kiev, while it also added two weekly flights to/from Kharkiv. Within only a year, SkyUp has transported more than 50,000 passengers in a total of 316 flights to and from Larnaka Airport.

SkyUp Airlines have announced the addition of more flights and new destinations in the summer of his year. Flights to and from Kiev will increase to five per week, while the airline will fly twice to and from Kharkiv and Odessa and once to and from Zaporizhia every week.
