According to the airline, the new aircraft will be integrated directly to the company’s summer flight programme.
“We are very excited to welcome this new addition to our family. Today’s delivery is a testament to Cyprus Airways’ commitment to continued expansion” stated Natalia Popova, chief commercial officer, Cyprus Airways.
The two Airbus A319 aircraft, each with a capacity of 144 seats, are scheduled to operate flights to the company’s network in Europe and Middle East.
According to Cyprus Airways, the airline’s long term goal is to contribute in the increase of tourism in Cyprus, while at the same time broadening the horizon for local travellers living on the island.
