The Cyprus council of ministers, following a proposal by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, approved a grant plan to encourage quality and aesthetic upgrade projects of beaches.

An agreement was recently signed between the Department of Engineering of the University of Nicosia (UNIC) and the Cyprus Geological Survey Department (GSD), committing both parties to closer collaboration in the broad area of Geo-Scientific research.

The presentation of the publication ‘Guide to Corporate Volunteering for the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility Actions’ took place on October 15, at the Press and Information Office. World Humanitarian Day is celebrated annually on August 19 since 2009, based on a United Nations (UN) decision.

Based on the objectives of the Cyprus National Tourism Strategy 2020-2030, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism has announced an open tender for the purchase of services of specialised consultants / designers, with the aim of sustainable tourism development of the wider area of Polis Chrysochous and Tillyria and the establishment of a  tourist identification.
