A day filled with surprises and joy awaited all children at Makarios Hospital this holiday season, as they had the chance to meet the impressive, The Mall of Cyprus’s real Santa Claus and get photographed with him.

During his visit, Santa Claus, accompanied by the KEANITA mascot, offered gifts to all children, spreading happiness and smiles. Santa came to Cyprus from snowy Lapland for the traditional four-day activity at The Mall of Cyprus, during which he was photographed with his little friends a few days before the new year, with the valuable support of KEANITA, children’s favourite juice drink.

On December 22, 2018 in a festive atmosphere, Blue Air crew and staff visited the paediatric aisle of Makarios Hospital in Nicosia.

After their own initiative, flight attendants and pilots have given gifts to the young children who are currently being hospitalized, sharing the message of love and compassion.
It is worth mentioning that a significant number of necessary items and equipment were offered to the paediatric aisle of Makarios Hospital.

Certification for efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions has been accomplished by Hermes Airports which acquired the Level 3 of the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) Certification for the reduction of its carbon dioxide emissions.
