The Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC) held with success its 33rd Annual General Meeting on May 03, at the Four Seasons Hotel, in Limassol. The general meeting was the first official opportunity for the shipping industry to reconnect with a number of state and government dignitaries, political party representatives, members of the house of representatives, diplomats and representatives of professional organisations, after a prolonged period of social distancing.

The first ‘Gastronomic Creations with Halloumi’ event recently took place on May 05, organised by Larnaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) in cooperation with the Higher Hotel Institute, Cyprus (HHIC), the Cyprus Cheesemakers Association, and the Cyprus Chefs Association (CCA).

After the successful organisation of the Christmas Villages in 2021-2022 by the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism, a grant scheme has been announced for the organisation of the following one, 2022-2023.

A total number of 59,918 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in March of this year, compared to 13,289 in the corresponding month in 2021, recording an increase of 350,9 percent.
