Wizz Air, one of EMEA’s most environmentally sustainable airlines, proudly announced a major milestone in Cyprus, surpassing nine million passengers transported to and from Larnaca International Airport since launching operations in the country.
In 2023, the number of vessels handling freight or embarking and disembarking passengers in the main EU ports was estimated to be 2.2 million, an increase of 1.5 percent from the 2022.
Cyprus Airways announced the launch of a new seasonal route connecting Larnaca to Venice, commencing May 30 and running through September 29, of this year.
