In December 2021, the number of commercial flights in the EU increased by 130 percent compared with December 2020. However this is still below the pre-pandemic levels (-24 percent compared with December 2019).
On the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey carried out by the Cyprus Statistical Service, revenue from tourism in Cyprus reached EUR310,2 million in October 2021, compared to EUR77,4 million in October 2020, recording an increase of 300,8 percent.
