Following a visit by the Cyprus deputy minister of tourism, Savvas Perdiou, to France, in September 2921, a delegation of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism headed Peridou, once again visited the country for the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Alsace Destination Tourisme (The Alsace Tourism Organisation of Alsace).  

The newly-launched ‘Larnaca Virtual Diving Routes’ have introduced and offer an interactive, digital way to experience some of Larnaca’s most popular dive sites – for divers preparing for an expedition, or non-divers wanting to enjoy a glimpse of the world beneath the waves.

City of Dreams Mediterranean, Cyprus’ first integrated resort (IR) and the largest in Europe and the wider region, announced a partnership with renowned Cypriot tennis player, Marcos Baghdatis, to present the Marcos Baghdatis Tennis Academy. With the aim to become a sporting landmark in Cyprus, the academy will be located in City of Dreams Mediterranean and is scheduled to open in the first half of 2023.

The recent opening ceremony of Ayia Napa Marina took place on June 21 and was held by the president of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, who expressed his admiration for the project, while his presence highlighted the importance of the project for the local community, the economy, and beyond. The inauguration took place under the auspices of the Ayia Napa Marina CEO, Stavros Caramondanis, and Ayia Napa Marina chairman, Naguib Sawiris, in the presence of distinguished guests.
