Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low cost carrier recently added Larnaca in Cyprus to its network of new European destinations for the 2023 summer season.

Wizz Air, one of Europe's fastest-growing airlines has announced further expansion to its base in Cyprus, where it allocates two of its Airbus A321neo aircraft.

With flights to Larnaca not only resuming, but expanding for the new season, Larnaca Tourism Board (LTB) spoke to Maria Kouroupi, senior manager of aviation development, marketing & communications, Hermes Airports Ltd, about how connectivity and accessibility is developing at Larnaka International Airport. 

The Cyprus Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announced the completion of the receipt and installation of 80 Border Xpress Kiosks at the Larnaca and Paphos airports.

Issues affecting Larnaca’s tourism and business development were discussed in a meeting on April 06, between the minister of transport, communication and works, Yiannis Karousos, and the presidents of the Larnaka Tourism Board (LTB) and the Larnaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) - Dinos Lefkaritis and Stavros Stavrou respectively, along with the president of Voroklini Community Council, Neophytos Fakontis.

Aegean Airlines flight had landed at Larnaka International Airport from Athens on April 06. The airline was carrying Cypriot citizens back home, from Athens.

The Hermes Airport team is working hard in close cooperation with the local authorities to enable the Cypriot citizens to return during COVID-19 outbreak.

Hermes Airports thanked Aegean Airlines once again for supporting Cyprus by offering the repatriation flight.
