Limassol Marina has announced that it has been awarded ‘Blue Flag Marina’ status for the fifth year running, in recognition of its commitment to environmental best practice, awareness and protection.
The Council of Europe (CoE) and the Republic of Cyprus, through the Press and Information Office (PIO), co-organised on June 10-11, in Nicosia, the online Conference of Ministers responsible for the Media and Information Society of the Council of Europe titled “Artificial Intelligence - Intelligent Politics: Challenges and Opportunities for Media and Democracy”.
In late May, 300 tons of reinforcement steel was used at the construction site of Limasssol Blu Marina, with 1,500 cubic metres of high-strength concrete, and 12 hours of casting, the 60-men construction crew that were working day and night.
The Cyprus Shipping Chamber (CSC) following all the required safety measures and within the framework of its long-standing socio-economic and charitable contribution to the Cyprus society, organised its 55th Blood Donation Drive, on June 01, at Agios Georgios Havouzas Church Hall, in Limassol, with the participation of the employees of its Shipping Chamber’s Member-companies.
