A teleconference of delegations of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), headed by its Zhu Shanzhong, executive director, and Savva Perdios, deputy minister of tyourism, Cyprus, took place on February 22. The ambassador of Cyprus to Spain, Elena Mina, also participated in the teleconference.

Savvas Perdios has been appointed as the first deputy minister for tourism for Cyprus. Perdios’s appointment was announced by Nicos Anastasiades, president, Republic of Cyprus on December 27.
