On the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey carried out by the Cyprus Statistical Service, revenue from tourism for the island reached EUR96,4 million in November 2022 compared to EUR104,2 million in November 2021, recording a decrease of 7,5 percent. 

Cyprus Airways recently announced that after long negotiations it has secured relevant permission and landing slots to operate up to three weekly flights to the UAE’s most populous city, Dubai. Flights will operate to and from Dubai International Airport (DXB).
