The Municipality of Ayia Napa once again commemorated and honoured holiday-makers who regularly visit the town. This time, Bechara and Claudine Abou Rahal and their daughter Μia, from Lebanon, received not only an honourary plaque but also the ambassador of tourism emblem.
More than 1,000 volunteers descended on Moscow's Red Square to make a Guinness world record breaking Greek salad which took two hours to prepare and weighed an impressive 20 tonnes.
