Cyprus Airways, the national flag carrier brand of Cyprus, continues to increase the number of flights from Larnaca with the launch of its new direct flights between Larnaca and Malta, enhancing Mediterranean interconnectivity.
A delegation of 65 politicians and journalists joined President Anastasiades on board a Cyprus Airways plane on April 26, as it departed for Geneva, and the airline returned the group on April 29, following the conclusion of the talks.
A new manual was introduced for the monitoring of marine litter where the purpose of the handbook is to provide more reliable and comparable data. This is to allow experts to assess the impact of measures already in place to reduce marine litter pollution and to better understand where to focus future clean-up efforts of the beaches and seas of Europe.
