Malta is now offering quarantine-free travel for UAE residents, after Emirates has officially announced that it will resume three weekly services to Malta via Larnaca, Cyprus, starting July 14. 

A total of 100,852 tourist arrivals were recorded in May of this year, compared to zero arrivals recorded in May 2020, a period during which measures were implemented to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) in Cyprus.

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has commenced direct flights between Larnaca in Cyprus and Athens in Greece as of June 18.
