Competing in the Dragon Boat Challenge for a second year running, Columbia Shipmanagement Cyprus (CSM) came second in the standard boat corporate category. The event took place in May in Limassol with a total of 12 teams competing in two groups.

Pafos Zoo welcomed a new baby giraffe, the first offspring of the species ever born at the zoo as well as in Cyprus. The healthy female giraffe took its first steps one hour after birth.
